Netgear has launched LAX20 Nighthawk 4 Stream LTE WiFi 6 Router in the US online. It has a launch selling price of $299.99 in the US. LAX20 is now available to pre-order online from Amazon US ( check here ). Netgear has also launched a WiFi 6E router which uses the newer 6Ghz –Netgear RAXE500 AXE11000 WiFi 6E Router
Netgear LAX20 is a WiFi 6 router with a 4G LTE Built-in Modem. It takes a nano-sim ( supports AT&T, T-Mobile / not compatible with Verizon Wireless and Sprint ) and offers download speeds up to 300Mbps.
This router can be set up and configured using the Netgear Nighthawk App. This app also lets you see your connected devices and helps you to manage your NETGEAR service subscriptions.
Like many other Netgear routers, this also comes with a quad-core processor, that helps with better performance and ensures smooth 4K UHD streaming. The WiFi 6 onboard features Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) for better network efficiency.
Netgear has equipped this router with 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports. It supports NETGEAR Armor, and has voice commands support for Amazon Alexa and the Google Assistant.
