Fujifilm has launched the FUJINON XF18-120mmF4 LM PZ WR lens in the US. It costs $899.95 and is now listed online on Amazon US ( Amazon.com ) for pre-order. According to the listing, this item will be released on September 15, 2022.

According to Fujifilm, the FUJINON XF18-120mmF4 LM PZ WR is the first X Series XF lens engineered in collaboration with the design team responsible for bringing FUJINON lenses to the high-end worlds of cinema and broadcast. It offers a variable power zoom, smooth manual focus, and stepless aperture adjustments to ensure a seamless recording experience.

The max aperture of this lens is F4. It can be stopped down to F22 aperture. The 18-120mm focal length offers a 27-183mm equivalent full frame focal length. It has a 7-bladed rounded diaphragm opening and takes Ø72mm filters. The minimum focus distance this lens can achieve is 0.6m. The max magnification it can achieve is 0.2x. This lens weighs 460g.

Front lens cap FLCP-72 II, Rear lens cap RLCP-001, Lens hood, and a Lens wrapping cloth are included in the box.

Fujifilm claims this lens to have corner to corner sharpness with little-to-no distortion at the frame’s edges. It uses 15 elements in 9 groups including 1 ED and 3 aspherical elements to control optical aberrations.

XF18mmF1.4 has a 9 bladed aperture offering a rounded diaphragm opening. The lowest aperture it can go is F16. Minimum focusing distance achievable is 20cm with a max magnification of 0.15x. This lens just weighs 370g making it a great lens to carry around with your Fujifilm camera.
