Sony Alpha A7M4 ILCE-7M4 Specs and Features

All previous models in the Sony Alpha A7 Series cameras came with 24MP sensors. Sony has bumped up the resolution of the newer 2021 A7 Mark 4 model to 33MP with 15+ stops of dynamic range. Previous gen A7 models could only record up to 4K@30fps while the newer model can do 4K@60fps.

Sony Alpha A7M4 ILCE-7M4 is powered by BIONZ XR processor which has 8 times faster processing power than the BIONZ X seen on older models. Sony has decided to bring their new vari-angle style LCD monitor to the A7 Series as well which we first saw on the A7S3 model.

Fujifilm GFX50S II is the first Medium Format Camera from Fujifilm to have in-body stabilization. While the older first-gen GFX50S camera with a removable viewfinder, the Mark 2 model has a fixed, non-removable one. This viewfinder offers 0.77x magnification which is slightly less than the first-generation model, which has 0.85x magnification. Sony ZV-E10 comes with an APS-C size 24.2-megapixel Exmor CMOS sensor which is probably the same sensor we saw on the Alpha A6100 launched a while back. Since this is made for vlogging, Sony has equipped this model with a fully articulating LCD panel. This camera doesn’t come with an EVF but has a multi-interface hot shoe up the top allowing you to add a wide range of Sony accessories like shotgun mics or even an EVF..

Sony is bringing a lot of Vlog features we saw on the other Vlog camera ZV-1 to this new camera. You get features like Background Defocus, Product Showcase mode, etc. There is a big record button at the top, along with a new slowmo button.

DJI has launched the Mini SE drone ( CP.MA.00000324.01 ) in the US online. It has a launch price tag of $299 and is now available to pre-order online from Amazon US. This item will be released on August 9, 2021. Check here for the current availability.

DJI Mini SE is an entry-level drone that has the same internals as the DJI mini First Gen but comes in DJI Mini 2’s body. It was listed online in the US on Walmart but was out of stock. Earlier, there were reports DJI won’t be launching Mini SE drone in the US.

DJI even put out an official statement – DJI Mini SE is a specialized product tailored for entry-level drone pilots in markets where consumer drone use is emerging. It uses the internal components of the Mavic Mini in the shell of the Mini 2, which generates slightly higher wind resistance but provides much of the performance of the original Mavic Mini at a very attractive price – Source dpreview.

Since DJI Mini SE internally is the same as the original First Gen Mini, you get all the same features of that drone, but in a better body. It has a 12MP sensor with up to 2.7K @ 30fps recording and offers up to 30mins of flight time. Since this also comes under 250g, you won’t need a license to fly this in many countries. You can fly the DJI Mini SE using the DJI Fly app which is available on the Playstore and Apple Store.

Nikon Z FC is a retro-style mirrorless camera that looks a lot like Nikon’s film-era cameras. Amazon US has now listed both Sony ILCE7RM4A/B ( Price: $3,499.99) and ILCE7RM3A/B ( Price: $2,799.99 ) up for Pre-order online. These items will be released on June 21, 2021.

So What’s new on these New Sony Alpha models?
