Ricoh WG-80 Camera listed on Amazon US | Check Price, Availability

Ricoh has launched WG-80 rugged camera in the US online. It is now listed online on Amazon US for pre-order. The launch price is $329.95 USD ( May 2022 Price ) You can buy this in two color options – Orange and Black. Check out the current pricing and availability here ( Amazon affiliate link ).

Ricoh WG-80 is an all-weather adventure camera featuring a 1/2.3″ CMOS back-illuminated 16MP sensor capable of shooting Full HD videos. It has a 28 – 140mm zoom lens ( 5x optical zoom ) with max aperture varying from F3.5( Wide ) to F5.5( Tele ).

Ricoh WG-80, part of the WG Series Compact Camera system, is a rugged and waterproof camera. It is waterproof down to 14m for two hours. To take better photos under the water, the WG-80 has a built-in underwater capture mode as well.

Ricoh has equipped WG-80 with 6 LED Macro Lights to assist close-up shooting offering uniform illumination on a subject when the Digital Microscope mode is selected.

Even though Ricoh in its press release talks about image stabilization, there is no optical image stabilization available on this model. Instead, this has Pixel Track SR mechanism, Digital SR mode, and Movie SR mode.

DJI Action 2 Camera uses a magnetic design that makes it easy for you to attach different accessories and get more features out of this tiny action camera. The camera module alone weighs just 56g. The design reminds me of the old GoPro Hero Session camera.

It features a 12MP 1/1.7 inch CMOS sensor with an ultra-wide-angle field of view of 155°. It has a fixed aperture F2.8 lens and can shoot up to 4K 120fps. This new model comes with RockSteady 2.0 and has the HorizonSteady features available as well. It comes with features like digital zoom, 8x slow-mo video, AI editor using Mimo app, timelapse etc.
