Apple has officially unveiled 2022 Mac Studio Desktop – a beefed-up Mac Mini – made for creative professionals. It costs $1,999.00 for the bast version and $3,999.00 for the high-end model. You can pre-order this starting today from the Apple Store, and will be available to pre-order from Amazon US in the coming days as well.
Apple Mac Studio can be bought with an M1 Max chip or the top-end M1 Ultra chipset. The base model comes with 32GB of unified memory and 512GB SSD storage. The $3999 model comes with 64GB unified memory and has 1TB SSD storage. Of course, you customize this and configure a system with up to 128GB unified memory and 8TB SSD storage – that would cost you $7,999.
The M1 Max powered Apple Mac Studio has Two USB-C ports on the front while the M1 Ultra powered model has got Two Thunderbolt 4 ports instead. On the back, both these have Four Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A ports, one HDMI port, one 10Gb Ethernet port, and one 3.5 mm headphone jack. You get an SDXC card slot on the front of both models.
