Asus has launched the Chromebook CX1 CX1400CNA-AS44FV model in the US online. It has a launch price tag of $279.99 and is now available to pre-order online from Amazon US. Check here for the current pricing and availability.

ASUS Chromebook CX1 CX1400CNA-AS44FV is an entry-level, budget Chrome OS laptop powered by Intel Celeron N3350 Dual-core Processor. It has a base clock speed of 1.1Ghz and a turbo boost clock of 2.4Ghz. For graphics, it uses integrated Intel HD Graphics 500 GPU.

Asus CX1400CNA-AS44FV features a 14 inch Full HD screen with an anti-glare panel. It has a 45% NTSC color gamut and supports 220nits max brightness. Asus also lists another model with a lower resolution 720P HD screen in this series which will be available at a later time.
