Fujifilm has just launched GFX 100S Medium Format Camera in the US. It has a launch selling price of $5,999.95 in the US. It is now available to pre-order online from Amazon US. This item will be released on March 11, 2021.
Fujinon GF80mmF1.7 R WR lens is also available at a price of $2,299.95 in the US ( pre-order ).
In the APS-C segment, Fujifilm has launched X-E4 26MP camera at a price of $849.95 ( body only ) – $1049.95 ( with the new XF27mmF2.8 Kit lens – Price: $399.95 ). This camera is available in two color options – Silver and Black.
Fujifilm GFX 100S is a high-end Medium Format camera that features a massive 100MP sensor. It uses the same 102MP BSI CMOS Sensor we saw on the older GFX 100 camera, but now available in a more compact body. It supports up to 6EV image stabilization and can shoot up to 4K @ 30fps videos.
If 100MP is not enough for you for some reason, you can make use of the multi-shot mode on the GFX100s to achieve 400MP files. Fujifilm has equipped this model with Two UHS-II SD card slots. It uses an NP-W235 battery which has a CIPA rating of 460shots on a full charge.
