Tamron had announced its first lens for the Canon RF mount last month—the 11-20mm f/2.8 Di III-A1 RXD (Model B060).
This lens is made for APS-C crop Canon RF mirrorless cameras such as the EOS R100, EOS R50, EOS R10, and EOS R7.
This is not a ‘New’ lens from Tamron – the Fujifilm X mount and Sony E-mount variants were launched a while back. This is a compact and lightweight ( weighs: 335g ) idle for wide angle landscape photography.
This lens is made of 12 elements in 10 groups. For better image quality, it contains two GM (Glass Molded Aspherical), two LD (Low Dispersion), and one XLD (eXtra Low Dispersion) lens element.
At the widest end, the Tamron 11-20mm F/2.8 Di III-A1 RXD (Model B060) lens for Canon RF mount has a close focus distance of 0.15m (5.9in) which gives a maximum magnification ratio of 1:4.
The price in the US for the RF mount starts at $659.00. Amazon.com has now listed this model for purchase.
